Old Photograph Of Major John Wesley Powell Restored
This is a restored public domain photo of the famous Grand Canyon and Colorado river explorer Major John Wesley Powell. The original photo was believed to be captured in 1896 in Northern Arizona and features Powell speaking with a member of the Paiute Indian tribe. In this version I placed Powell and his friend in a new dramatic location at Lee’s Ferry Arizona with the Colorado river in the distance.
